| The MuchMusic Video Awards rolled into Toronto for the 19th year this past weekend, and with them came a whole lot of celebrities, swag, parties, and unfortunate weather. The night before the show our local editors got the chance to check out the Gladstone Hotel, decked out for the fourth installment of Rockstar Hotel, a multi-floored event where musicians and lucky invitees sampled items up for grabs from brands like Puma, Fido, Zune, and Fuze.
At the awards themselves, we had reporters in the various parties, including the eTalk lounge and the large tent set up on Queen Street West, just outside of the show. Guests had a lot to say about the parties—mainly that as long as there are celebrities and open bars, people aren’t easily discouraged by bad weather.
We also compiled some highlights from the media's take on the events, including news on the backstage hospitality suite and a few last-minute adjustments to the red carpet program. Check out all of our coverage here.
