Weber Shandwick Worldwide has promoted Kerry Harris to the position of president of the company's Canadian division. Harris, who joined the the firm in May 2006 as executive vice president, will oversee the PR firm's offices in Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, and Vancouver. “We are thrilled to have Kerry Harris head up our offices in Canada,” said Cathy Calhoun, co-president of the company's Global Consumer Marketing group. "Her wealth of experience and knowledge in the world of PR and beyond, coupled with her exceptional management talent, continues to help us expand our offerings and drive new business."
With more than 20 years of public relations experience, Harris has worked in a broad range of sectors, including financial services, retail, and tourism. Her expertise includes work in brand strategy, communications, economic development, and consumer and lifestyle marketing.
