Healthwinds Spa Offers Tranquil New Setting for Private Events
Healthwinds The Health & Wellness Spa, which operated in a medical building at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue for 15 years, has relocated to a new street-level space in the Chateau Royal condominium development on Mount Pleasant Road. The spa, founded by Kailee Kline, has eight treatment rooms, a juice bar, and a spa shop—all of which can be utilized for corporate and social events.

"Our new environment is inspired by luxe international spas, while offering treatments and services that are effective, accessible, and affordable,” Kline said. “We wanted to exceed our guests’ expectations with an experience that both relaxes and renews."

The reception area—decorated with natural bamboo, glass, and stone—includes a spa shop that stocks organic health and beauty products from lines like Éminence, Cellcosmet, and Guinot. Opposite the shop is a juice bar with fresh tangerine and acai juices, organic teas from David's Tea, and baked health bars. A sitting room in the main space is filled with plush white furnishings, a stone fireplace, and a water wall.

The spa's eight treatment rooms include two deluxe rooms with a Swiss shower for body wraps, polishes, and sugar scrub therapies. A hydrotherapy treatment room has a seven-foot tub equipped with 120 jets and a high-pressure water wand. A designated mani/pedi room has four stations with stainless steel foot baths and a line of eco-friendly polishes. The men’s and women’s locker rooms are equipped with state-of-the art steam rooms, rain showers heads, and private lockers with robes and Havaianas sandals.

The spa, open seven days a week, can accommodate groups of up to 150 people for events; catering can also be arranged.
