This week, the Trapeze School of New York opened a new location on the site of the old Washington Convention Center, bringing high-flying trills to downtown Washington. Instructors are trained in teambuilding, with an emphasis on forging bonds between participants and helping group members build trust. Aside from aerial skills, class members can try their hand at rock climbing or sword play. A typical two-hour class starts at $120 per person for groups of any size. The Trapeze School will operate at the H Street NW location until the fall, when plans call for a move to a tented site near Nationals Park.
