Last month, former health care executive Matt Baker opened an activity camp that offers exercise coupled with personalized teambuilding programs. In Savage, Maryland, Terrapin Adventures has a course with 39 activities, such as rope towers and a zip line, and also includes indoor and outdoor meeting spaces. In full- or half-day sessions, participants work toward the goal of building trust and understanding, are encouraged to solve problems, and develop team confidence. Itineraries for corporate groups of 15 or more may include a scavenger treasure hunt followed by a trek across the three-level high rope course. All activities are led by trained guides, with prices starting at $100 per person per day, which includes meals.
