Chef Geoff's Tysons Corner Opens With Private Dining
On June 25, restaurateur Geoff Tracy opened the 200-seat Chef Geoff’s Tysons Corner in the space formerly held by Colvin Run Tavern. Next to Tiffany & Co. and across from Hermes and Louis Vuitton, the rejuvenated venue, designed by architecture firm CORE, has contemporary decor with ebony wood floors, burgundy carpets, and walls of black louvered panels.

A large wraparound bar with a central glass-enclosed wine storage room, five flat-screen TVs, and a gas fireplace fill the entrance space. Bartenders draw more than 30 specialty beers on tap. To the right are two 50-seat dining rooms, one of which can be enclosed for events. At the rear of the venue is a 14-seat private dining room equipped with a 52-inch flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. A terrace seats 80.

The summer menu showcases many of Tracy’s favorite dishes, including day boat scallops with mushroom risotto and Cuban salmon with mojito vinaigrette.
