D.C. Crime Museum to Open in April
Washington is getting another new museum (Madame Tussauds opened in October, and the Newseum is set to open this spring) with the opening of the National Museum of Crime & Punishment at 7th and E Streets NW in April. Co-owned by America’s Most Wanted host John Walsh, the museum will feature historical artifacts and interactive presentations on topics ranging from pirates and John Wayne types to computer hackers and serial killers.

The three-story, 28,000-square-foot museum will be available for private events of as many as 500. Specific room availability and capacities will be determined closer to the museum's opening, as will a list of preferred caterers, florists, and photographers.   —Claire Hoffman
