OVERVIEW
This privately owned estate home has earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places, thanks to its Federalist architecture and grand open gardens and fountains. The house includes a large pavilion, a ballroom, and smaller drawing and dining rooms. For receptions, the first floor holds 350 with the pavilion, and the ballroom seats 90 to 140. The four acres of well-maintained gardens overlook Rock Creek Park and the historic Oak Hill Cemetery in the Georgetown neighborhood.
