OVERVIEW
One block from the Capitol building, Folger Shakespeare Library houses the largest collection of Shakespeare materials in the world. An Art Deco exterior bears a false witness to the detailed Tudor-style rooms within, complete with stained-glass windows and oak paneling. The great hall and reading room can seat 200 or hold 500 for receptions. The Elizabethan Garden is available on a limited basis for receptions of as many as 120.
