Centerplate launched in Washington in 1995 and creates regionally inspired menus. The company handles events ranging from cocktail parties and picnics to banquets and large-scale events at convention centers; it is willing to organize events for as many as 70,000. Centerplate has catered presidential inaugurations and Super Bowls.
