OVERVIEW
A few blocks from Union Station and the Capitol, this 343-room hotel, formerly the Holiday Inn on the Hill, opened in April 2008 following a $12 million renovation. The hotel features modern decor in shades of black, white, and gray accented with red, and the lobby showcases six- by six-foot paintings of famous world leaders. On site are a rooftop bar and pool, as well as 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space broken into 10 rooms. A 248-seat restaurant offers a private dining room.
