OVERVIEW
The much-anticipated Westend Bistro, owned by chef Eric Ripert of New York’s Le Bernadin, opened at the Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C. in November 2007. Serving seasonal takes on comfort-food classics, the sleek but casual venue has a 96-seat main dining room and a bar and lounge. An outdoor patio was slated to open in April (though it won’t be available for private events). Westend features cherrywood floors, raised banquettes, and alcove seating.
