OVERVIEW
Entering through the National Geographic Society’s courtyard, guests pass “under the stars”—a ceiling illustration and re-creation of the sky the night the society was founded in 1888. The 385-seat auditorium has audiovisual capabilities, and the adjacent 6,800-square-foot dining hall holds seated events for 400 and banquets for 500; in-house catering is available.
