OVERVIEW
This museum’s most memorable exhibit spaces—from the soaring rotunda, home to an imposing African elephant, to the Hall of Geology, Gems, and Minerals, the glittering repository of the Hope Diamond—can host as many as 300 for dinners or 500 for receptions. The Baird Auditorium and Johnson IMAX Theater provide seating for 565 for audiovisual presentations and film screenings. The Ocean Hall, set to open in September, will be the museum’s largest permanent exhibit.
