OVERVIEW
Formerly owned by one of Alexandria’s founding families, this 1785 white clapboard house is in the middle of Old Town. The house holds 20 for banquets or 150 on its grounds. Guests can mingle where George Washington did, in the intimate dining room filled with heirlooms or in the garden dotted with azaleas, begonias, and chestnut trees.
