OVERVIEW
Quite literally a secret garden, this 10-acre park is hidden between Rock Creek Park and Montrose Park in Georgetown. Resembling something out of an 18th-century British novel, the formerly private estate is a maze of exquisitely landscaped gardens, rows of thousands of roses, and even a line of waterfalls. Group tours for 10 or more can be arranged, and the miniature Roman-style amphitheater at the center of the gardens can host events for 50.
