OVERVIEW
With marshy ponds covered in lotuses and water lilies, herons wading by, and even the occasional bald eagle sighted overhead, it’s hard to believe this lush, exotic setting is contained within the District’s borders. The 12-acre national park offers several large gardens, ball fields, and grassy knolls that can be rented for events.
