Executive chef Joel Thevoz founded this environmentally friendly and health-conscious catering company. Main Event provides customized menus that feature organic, vegetarian, vegan, and raw fare, as well as free-range natural meats and sustainable fish. Signature dishes include crab cakes and hand-rolled dark chocolate truffles. The company caters events ranging from intimate dinners for 15 to galas for 1,500. Its clients include the King and Queen of Sweden, the Supreme Court, the Queen of Jordan, and the American Red Cross.
