February Fashion Week in New York could be described in one word: schizophrenic. From the weather and the far-flung show venues to the noticeably reduced guests lists, attending the fall New York shows proved a hearty challenge to editors and retailers. While many designers unsurprisingly referenced the city’s extraordinary climate conditions in their designs, they refused to let Mother Nature deter them in their pursuit of highly individualized productions.
