A cake was suspended from the ceiling at a May 24 wedding at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Created by Party Flavors Custom Cakes, the six-tier confection had fondant accents and was decked with fresh flowers. The cake was suspended on a flowery tray with sturdy ceiling rigging and could have been cut and served on the spot. The bride and groom, however, opted to remove the cake from its hanging pedestal after it had been cut. The Soiree Company Event & Wedding Planning planned the wedding.
