There's big news for Mets fans with corporate box seats today. The Flushing-based baseball team and Aramark announced a partnership with Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), which will bring the restaurateur's eateries to the new Mets home, Citi Field. In addition to outposts of two of the restaurant group's popular food joints—Blue Smoke and Shake Shack—the new stadium will have two brand new dining concepts from Meyer, an as-yet-unnamed tacqueria and a Belgian fries stand called Pop Fries. On top of this, USHG will provide food and beverage for the Sterling Club, the 1,600-capacity luxury suite area at field level behind home plate. The Sterling Club will offer a range of options, from artisanal comfort foods in the Sterling Market café and specialty wine and beer in the Sterling Beer & Wine Bar, to small plates in the Sterling Dining Room and food from the outfield concourse served directly to the box seats.

Citi Field is scheduled to open next year.
