A celebration typically calls for champagne. And when a tennis pro who's also a brand ambassador for Moët & Chandon scores his 1,000th career win, a champagne toast—with a tennis-inspired spin—is in order. That's what happened on March 8, when Moët & Chandon hosted a champagne bash at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills to celebrate Roger Federer's career milestone.
Dubbed "the Tiny Tennis tournament," the event featured an exhibition match on a miniature court installed in the hotel's Wetherly Gardens. Comedian Heather McDonald served as the M.C. during an exhibition match featuring actress Zoe Saldana as Federer's doubles partner. Along with celebrating Federer's achievement, the event served as a kickoff for the 2015 BNP Paribas Open, which took place in Indian Wells, California, earlier this month and had Moët & Chandon as its official champagne.
Here's a look at how the brand infused its champagne-centric celebration with a sporty theme.
