With the opening of the much-anticipated new W Hollywood Hotel & Residences on January 28 comes the debut of Delphine restaurant from the Innovative Dining Group (whose other restaurants include Sushi Roku and BOA Steakhouse). The classic French menu at Delphine offers Provençal cooking with Mediterranean influences.

New York-based design firm Zeff Design created the look for the indoor-outdoor space, which has a palette of blue and white and is framed by archways for an open feel. Bistro seating, wicker furnishings, silver gilded antique cabinetry, a marble-topped bar, reproduction subway tiles, barrel wood ceilings, and modern wind turbine-style ceiling fans round out the look.

Executive chef Sascha Lyon (who has worked at Daniel, Balthazar, and Pastis in New York), helms the kitchen. Delphine is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, offering entrees like trout meunière, moules frites au pernod, and croque monsieur.

The expansive 6,000-square-foot space also includes Station Hollywood, an outdoor bar and lounge named for the Metro Red Line station at Hollywood and Vine, as well as the Living Room, an indoor bar and lounge. Station Hollywood has dark woods and landscaping, plus a 600-square-foot outdoor screen that retracts from the entrance to the hotel for use for special events held in the space. The Living Room has a high-end sound system and 40-foot high ceilings.

At publishing time, the venue was finalizing the capacity details with the city. Delphine is available for buyout.
