Riviera Resort & Spa in Palm Springs is slated to reopen in October following an extensive $70 million remodel that began in 2007. The 24-acre resort includes 406 upgraded guest rooms that will feature separate working and living areas, and each room will have its own patio or balcony.
Other additions include restaurant Circa59, which will serve traditional dishes with modern influences for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the Starlight Lounge. The new 12,045-square-foot SpaTerre will include 18 treatment rooms and a fitness center.
The resort also has more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space available. The 19,670-square-foot Grand Ballroom accommodates 3,500 for receptions. The Desert Conference Center offers a grouping of flexible rooms, including the 5,000-square-foot El Dorado Ballroom, which seats 500, and the 4,000-square-foot royal ballroom, which seats 360.
