The popular restaurant and bar Parts & Labour launched their new catering branch at an event on April 4. Under executive chef Matty Matheson, P&L Catering offers canapes and food stations inspired by global street food. “Street food is not only recognizable, but approachable,” says Tara Sachs, P&L's catering coordinator.
The P&L Catering menu includes a number of vegetarian, meat, and fish canapes as well as food stations serving items like hot dogs, tacos, and stir-fry noodles. But even though the dishes are casual, the ingredients are high-quality. “We pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients and our work,” says Sachs. “It's the type of food you want at a casual event, [but] the quality of food you expect at an upscale event.”
P&L can accommodate events of any size, and special requests—including dessert—are taken into consideration. P&L is a preferred caterer at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
