Conde Nast Traveler threw a fairly rocking party to promote its annual “Hot List” issue. The event took over the new Chambers Hotel, filling its tiny lobby and mezzanine lounge area with mingling twentysomethings and turning the hotel's in-house restaurant, Town, into a steamy disco.

The tables and chairs were removed from the restaurant's David Rockwell-designed dining room, and the space was filled with guests dancing and sipping champagne. The event brought in not one but two celebrity DJs, former Culture Club front man Boy George and Michael Douglas' son, Cameron Douglas.

Produced by Swell Productions, the party was the latest in a series of, well, swell magazine events, following Travel & Leisure's anniversary party, Men's Journal's Heroes awards event and Self's Self Day kickoff party.
