CHICAGO: Taste of Iceland, a celebration of Icelandic food and culture, will take place April 11-14. Events will take place at venues including Elske, the Underground Chicago, and the Logan Theater. 

LOS ANGELES: T-Pain will host the iHeartRadio Music Awards, taking place March 14 at the Microsoft Theater. The two-hour show airs live on Fox.

NEW YORK: The N.Y.U. School of Professional Studies Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality will present the 16th Annual Grossinger-Bergman Distinguished Lecturer Series in Travel and Tourism on March 13. The event, titled “Corporate Travel: A Global Forecast,” will feature speaker Kurt Ekert, president and C.E.O. of C.W.T.

The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center has tapped Levy and Catering by Restaurant Associates (CxRA) to oversee food, beverage, hospitality strategy, and event catering for the venue.  

 WINiT by G.B.T.A., a network that focuses on positive change for the career mobility of women in travel-related industries, will hold its WINit Gala on November 7 at the Grand Hyatt New York. 

Ardyn, an American restaurant, cocktail bar, and lounge, has opened in Greenwhich Village. The 1,900-square-foot restaurant is the debut project from chefs Ryan Lory and Adam Bordonaro, formerly of Charlie Palmer Group and Fig & Olive. Seating areas include a 14-seat white quartz bar, a dining room that seats 36, and a private dining alcove that seats seven.

SAN FRANCISCO: The 36th annual San Francisco International Beer Festival will take place April 20 at Fort Mason Center. 

TORONTO: CBC Music Presents Playlist Live will take place March 17 at London Music Hall, immediately following the Juno Awards. Twenty-four Canadian artists will perform at the two-hour music festival. The show, which has traditionally been an invite-only event, has offered a limited number of general admission tickets.
