For Court TV's 10th anniversary party, the network chose American Park at the Battery as the setting for the bash, which was attended by approximately 1,000 Court TV employees, friends and family. The huge 10,000-square-foot venue provided great views of the New York Harbor, and proved a perfect viewing place for the fireworks that were set off by Bay Fireworks near the end of the evening.

The restaurant provided a seemingly endless variety of food, including carving stations, cheese tables, a raw bar and an assortment of other buffet foods. For entertainment, Roy Ayers and the Ubiquity Band (contracted through Entertainment's Finest & Associates) performed for guests on the upstairs floor while DJ Dee Rock spun on the outside patio. Decor was minimal: Aside from a few summery arrangements of sunflowers, most of the decor consisted of signage of the network's shows and audience demographics posters propped up on easels.

Coordinated by Swell Productions, the event event took care of guests' transportation: Court TV employees were all transported from their offices to the event and back on Gray Line buses. A nice touch considering the difficulty catching a cab in the Financial District after hours.
