When Design Miami moved from the design district, its home for the last five years, to Miami Beach, real estate company Dacra Development put a plan into action to make sure visitors didn’t neglect the 18-square-block neighborhood just north of downtown Miami, known for its restaurant and gallery scene. From the launch of the late Alexander McQueen’s rug and pillow collection at the Rug Company’s pop-up boutique, to Duncan Quinn’s Casino Royale-themed set-up at the Moore building, here’s a look at “Cultured,” Dacra’s program of gallery exhibitions and special events. The program wrapped on Sunday, along with Design Miami and Art Basel.
