DECOR: Paper-Thin, Printable Lights

July 16, 2001, 12:00 AM EDT

For something a little different from a corporate logo in gobo lights, Levy Lighting sells an innovative new product. Levy's paper-thin flatlights can be bent or manipulated to suit your decor scheme--put them on top of a table, wrap them around ceiling columns, whatever you want. You can also print a digital image directly on a flatlight, or stick a transparency over it. And the newest version of the flatlights is perforated, giving you a whole new set of looks. An 8 by 10 perforated flatlight will set you back $250, and give you approximately 5,000 hours of light. --Suzanne Ito
