In April, upstate New York-based Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse opened its first Florida location, on International Drive near the Orange County Convention Center. The 8,000-square-foot restaurant is filled with dark wood and decorated with caricatures of real—and not so real—Italian celebrities, everyone from Frankie Avalon to characters from The Sopranos.
The restaurant is available for buyout and has seating for 300. For smaller private dinners and meetings, the Rat Pack and Godfather rooms can accommodate eight people each, while the Sinatra Room has seating for 10 and a flat-screen TV for presentations. For larger events, the Wanna Be Room can accommodate 60 people.

In mild weather, the patio on either side of the entrance can be used for gatherings. There is seating for 50 people at four-top tables with umbrellas for shade. Groups looking to watch a sports event can sit at the large U-shaped bar inside that is surrounded by several large flat-screen TVs.

In addition to Italian classics such as linguine with clam sauce, veal marsala, and a one-pound serving of lasagna, the menu features several steaks, including the signature Delmonico steak—a whopping 24 ounces of Angus rib eye.
