The Starlight Gala, which supports Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada, took place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on April 5. The event had a “London Calling” theme, replete with a My Fair Lady-inspired flower stall. Decor and floral company Mode Function donated bouquets of roses, mini roses, boxwood, and wax flowers. Attendees could purchase bouquets for donations of from $10 to $20. Flower sales helped boost the evening's overall take of $500,000.
