DALLAS/FORT WORTH: Jaxon Texas Kitchen & Beer Garden is expected to open its doors in Dallas’ Discovery District this March. The Tex-Mex fusion restaurant will feature 4,400 square feet of interior dining space as well as a 10,000-square-foot patio.

KANSAS CITY, MO.: Bishop-McCann, a company in the meetings, incentive programs, and event industry, has acquired the meeting and event division of ASE Group Inc. Bishop-McCann President and C.E.O. Rob Adams will continue to lead the company.

LAS VEGAS: Station Casinos has finished a room renovation project at its Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa and Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa locations. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa now offers new room amenities in its more than 700 rooms and 55 suites including 65-inch high definition TVs, RFID room key technology, and expanded Wi-Fi coverage. At Green Valley Ranch Casino Resort & Spa, both the Strip and Presidential Suites have been renovated.

LOS ANGELES: The Beverly Hilton will unveil a $35 million transformation in April, which will renovate the hotel's 566 guest rooms and indoor-outdoor event spaces.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Mexican restaurant chain Pink Taco opened a Miami location on January 10. Located on Ocean Drive, the eatery serves brunch, lunch, dinner, and a late-night menu.

NEW YORK: Women of Color on Broadway will present its Purple Crystal Honorary Awards in the Cooper Union’s Great Hall on February 10, honoring Tony winners LaChanze and Melba Moore. The event celebrates actresses of African, Latin, Asian, or indigenous descent.

SACRAMENTO: California brewing chain Fieldwork Brewing announced expansion plans for its Sacramento location to be completed in early spring. The expansion to 4,900 square feet will include indoor lounge areas and an expanded outdoor patio space. The brewery, which will also be releasing a new food menu in the spring, will remain open throughout the renovation.

SAN FRANCISCO: Santa Clara Convention Center has chosen Levy Convention Centers as its dining and hospitality partner and will work with Levy’s analytics arm E15 Group to use consumer insights to curate menus.

WASHINGTON: J Public Relations is now representing the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia.
