NATIONAL: The Democratic National Convention has been postponed to August 17. It was originally supposed to take place July 13 to 16 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
LAS VEGAS: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Centerplate, the Las Vegas Convention Center's exclusive food and beverage partner, has donated roughly 9,240 pounds of food—including 500 boxed lunches, 400 sandwiches, 400 salads, and 100 food platters—to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, which provides shelter and services to homeless men, women, and children in Las Vegas.
LOS ANGELES: The 2020 Carousel of Hope Ball will take place October 10. The star-studded biennial fund-raiser, which raises money for the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, will feature Jay Leno as master of ceremonies.
