US: Visit Glendale Launches an Immersive Tour of the City, the Los Angles Builders Ball Honorees, New York’s Coffee Fest Returns and More

NATIONAL: Global sports marketing agency rEvolution has announced Tony Lorenz as its global head of corporate development, with a focus on the company’s merger and acquisitions. Lorenz was a founding investing partner of rEvolution, and in his new position plans to converge B2B and B2C event experiences as well as further bolster the agency’s presence as a global leader in sports marketing.

CHICAGO: The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced that Anthony Molino has been hired as the director of Chicago area sales. Molino has a robust resume in hospitality that spans nearly two decades. Most recently, he served as the director of hotel sales and national sales manager for Choose Chicago. Prior to joining Choose Chicago in 2017, he held positions as director of national accounts with Hilton properties in Washington, D.C. and Chicago.

GLENDALE, ARIZ: Visit Glendale has launched a virtual, 360-degree tour that showcases popular Arizona attractions such as the Westgate Entertainment District and Tanger Outlets, plus in-depth looks at meeting spaces in a number of Glendale hotels. The immersive experience will allow visitors to click through and virtually “walk” around venues, restaurants, lodging and more as if they were getting an in-person tour.

LOS ANGELES: The Los Angeles Builders Ball is taking place March 9 from 5-9 p.m. at The Beverly Hilton in celebration of the donors and partners of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. The evening event will raise awareness and funds to help strengthen communities and families through homeownership. This year’s honorees include Clark Construction for Builder of the Year, City National Bank as 2022’s Foundation Builder and actress and producer Chandra Wilson as 2022’s Dream Builder.

NEW YORK: The International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York and Coffee Fest are opening March 6 at the Javits Center following a two-year hiatus and will collectively create the largest food and beverage experience in the Northeast. Produced by the Clarion Events Food & Beverage Group, both two-day events will feature enhanced educational programs, networking opportunities and product sourcing. One badge will grant guests access to both shows, and aspiring attendees can register on Coffee Fest’s website.
