Red and gold decor and lighting dominated Fashion Group International's Night of Stars benefit, which honors the fashion industry's top designers and players, at Cipriani 42nd Street. The Italian-inspired theme was complemented with custom-made linens by designer Roberto Cavalli: Tablecloths were a collage of colorful fabrics while napkins were made of animal-print silk and held in napkin rings decorated with red roses. Red rose bouquets from Craig & Company served as centerpieces, and tables were lined with gold chairs. Italian-themed food followed, including hors d'oeuvres of calamari, meatballs and Parmesan cheese.
