Kermit the Frog Serves as M.C. for Charity Benefit

The Fulfillment Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students graduate from high school and college, honored Walt Disney Studios chairman Rich Ross at its Stars 2011 benefit gala November 1 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel—with nary a snooze-worthy M.C. in sight. Jason Segel, the co-writer, executive producer, and star of Disney's The Muppets, served as master of ceremonies along with the upcoming film's star, Kermit the Frog. The event also included a live performance by the theatrical cast of Disney's The Lion King. More than 900 guests attended the event.
