Dylan's Candy Bar was an ideal venue for the Kids in Candyland fund-raiser for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, an Upper East Side social services agency. Filled with brightly colored, kid-friendly decor and merchandise, the chic sugar emporium even has its own uptown pedigree. (The owner being Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph, of course.)

To add to the already-festive environment, Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs served the blown-out moms and their well-dressed tots lots of kiddie-appropriate food, including tiny pizza slices, mini hamburgers and little grilled cheese sandwiches, and juice boxes to drink. And origami artists from Origami USA and face painters gave kids some non-candy activities.

Meanwhile, kids, parents and caterwaiters navigated among the store's colorful displays of Jelly Bellies, Pez, Peeps and M&M Colorworks, plus a candy pinball machine priced at $1,895, gum balls included. (“That's for the Platinum card,” one father quipped.)
