Check out these three new and revamped meeting and ballroom spaces—on and off the Strip—that are equipped to accommodate groups of all sizes.

1. The meeting and convention floor at New York New York reopened in September 2008 after extensive renovations that added two new rooms and gave existing rooms top-to-bottom redos. The 2,200-square-foot Park Terrace Room, which overlooks the resort’s casino floor and Big Apple landmarks, holds 150 for receptions, and the Central Park Room, with a view of the pool area, holds 110. Not new, but eye-catching: The Brooklyn Bridge in front of the resort holds 1,000.

2. The MGM Grand added the Marquee Ballroom in January 2008, which expanded the resort’s meeting space to 602,000 square feet. The 92,000-square-foot pillarless ballroom is near the pool and conference center and holds 6,000 for receptions. The fully carpeted facility has floor-based power, wireless Internet access, and convenient rigging points throughout.

3. About 17 miles from the Strip, the MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Las Vegas opened the 10,000-square-foot Riva di Lago Events Center in April 2008. The Tuscan-themed center is near the resort’s marina and has views of the lake and mountains. A conference room holds 50, while the great room holds 240 and can be split in two.
