Two spas have recently opened in Orlando hotels, offering an array of treatments and therapies for staffers, clients, and meeting attendees.

1. In July, the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando opened Poseidon Spa. On the sixth floor of the hotel, the spa is relatively small, at just 1,200 square feet. It has four treatment rooms—three singles and one for couples.
The spa offers a variety of body treatments and massage therapies, including one that uses heated shells to relieve muscle tension. There is also a three-part facial rejuvenation treatment. In late November, the spa will add nail services to its menu.

2. Opening this week is the Spa at the Peabody, part of the recent expansion of the Peabody Orlando hotel on International Drive. The 22,000-square-foot spa encompasses two levels overlooking the hotel’s new serenity pools. The spa has 12 treatment rooms, including two skin-care rooms, four massage rooms, four body treatment rooms with showers, and two couples suites. Two of the rooms also have balconies that can be used for treatments. Services at the spa include Watsu, an aquatic massage therapy unique to Central Florida. Guests can also use the spa’s salon and 8,000-square-foot fitness center, equipped with strength and cardio studios, a core training room, two group exercise rooms, and more than 50 exercise machines.
