Only All-Suite Resort to Open

E6874singer 152
The Resort at Singer Island is scheduled to open in December, making it the only all-suite resort in North Palm Beach. The island was named after Paris Singer, the famed Palm Beach developer who was the youngest child of Isaac Singer, the sewing machine millionaire. Managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the 21-story resort will have 239 one- and two-bedroom suites ranging in size from 800 to 2,100 square feet, the largest being the presidential suite with two bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a spacious balcony for private events. All guest rooms are just as luxurious, with fully-equipped kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Meetings and events can be accommodated at seven facilities, totaling 4,000 square feet with a capacity for 14 to 175 people. A terrace with spectacular ocean views will also be available for events. Guests can also visit an 8,500-square-foot spa or dine at Solu, the resort's signature Asian/Caribbean oceanfront restaurant. It is conveniently located 12 miles from the Palm Beach International Airport and from local attractions such as the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Norton Museum of Art, and the South Florida Science Museum. —Vanessa Goyanes
