Carnivores have a new destination, with Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak rounding out the new restaurant row near the Chelsea Market. The New York follow up to the Las Vegas spot of the same name, this latest jewel in the Craft empire has views of the High Line and the Hudson River. With 230 seats, the space (not unlike neighboring Del Posto) is large, and features vaulted ceilings and a two-story glass and steel wine vault. Steak is dry-aged in-house, and there’s also a focus on seafood, highlighted by a 12-seat raw bar. For a private event, there’s the 30-seat dining room (pictured).
