'NSync popster Lance Bass' dreams of launching into space seem to be on hold, but he has entered a new frontier. The members of the boy band are the latest wax figures to populate Madame Tussaud's. To give the figures an Access Hollywood-worthy unveiling, all five members—Bass, gone-solo Justin Timberlake and, well, the other three—all showed up to pose for pictures, crack jokes and explain that it was "weird" to see themselves in wax.
After the pictures, the group headed back to a room populated by other international figures—Fidel Castro, Colin Powell—for a reception with 200 of the band's family members, friends and staffers, who paid more attention to the food than the boys in the band. Comely servers from Jason Apfelbaum's Chef & Company catering firm passed around pretty trays of chanterelle crostini, tuna tartare and smoked Long Island duck breast. The event was produced Madame Tussaud's Karen Kunce.
