Socialites, journalists, and even Miss Universe Natalie Glebora gathered at the Four Seasons Restaurant for the launch of Patrick McMullan’s book Kiss Kiss—a compilation of the ubiquitous event photographer’s snapshots of celebrities kissing. Sponsored by Maybelline New York the lively party entertained guests with kissing booths (black and white photo booths where attendees could photograph themselves kissing) and personalized lip print readings courtesy of Allure magazine. Alexis Wall, Allure’s merchandising manager, worked with event planning company Save the Date to book Sasha Nanus, who offers a personality analysis based on lip prints guests leave with lipstick. Eager and curious women (as well as a handful of men including Troy Surratt, the consulting makeup artist for Maybelline) lined up by the table where Nanus worked to apply Maybelline’s new Superstay Lipcolor and kiss napkins printed with Allure’s logo.
