On Tuesday night the Orlando chapter of the International Special Event Society hosted its installation of new officers at the Reunion Resort. About 70 people attended the cocktail reception and dinner in the hotel’s grand ballroom, which Convention Planning Services Orlando’s Valerie Lenz designed with light blue and chocolate brown decor accented with crystal chandeliers. The dessert reception took place at the hotel’s South Beach-themed restaurant, Eleven, on the hotel’s 11th floor, overlooking the on-site water park.
The chapter presented the Bright Spark Award to Brittany Andrews, named Lenz Member of the Year, and inducted Paul Creighton into the I.S.E.S. Orlando Hall of Fame, and installed its 2010-2011 board of directors:
