The 25-year-old Tournament Clubhouse at La Quinta Resort and Clubβs P.G.A. West reopened last week after an extensive redesign and remodeling. Led by Scottsdale, Arizona-based Peterson Architecture & Associates, the redesign closed the clubhouse for six months. The newly updated venue is available for buyouts for special events.
Windows have been replaced with sliding glass doors and a 5,200-square-foot dining patio has been added to encourage inside-outside traffic flow. Historical golf moments are commemorated in the clubhouseβs Western Home of Golf gallery through memorabilia collected from P.G.A. pros and club members. Food and beverage and event function areas have been expanded. Updated color and textures inside the clubhouse include woods, colorful fabrics, and varied flooring.
