New Director of Sales and Marketing for the Park Hyatt Washington

The Park Hyatt Washington recently announced that Courtenay Dundy has taken over as director of sales and marketing. Dundy, who has previously worked in sales for Hyatt Hotels in Maryland and Texas, is now in charge of marketing, catering, and sales at the D.C. hotel, which reopened in 2006 after a $24 million renovation. Dundy’s background includes stints as a conference director and event manager in New York City as well as in the West Indies. She began her career planning events for George Washington University, where she also received a master's degree in event management.In other hotel news, Charissa Benjamin, a director at Qorvis Communications, has accepted a communications position within Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants in Washington, D.C.
