The Beverly Hilton unveiled some of the menu, drink, and decor details for the 71st annual Golden Globe awards at a press preview Friday.

Beverly Hilton executive chef Suki Sugiura described the menu as globally influenced and with a California twist.
The Golden Globes menu will include an appetizer trio of grilled eggplant, mini sweet pepper, and grilled artichoke.
This year’s Golden Globes entrée will be Mediterranean spice crusted braised beef short rib and sautéed smoked filet of Atlantic sea trout with spinach sweet corn ragout and light cream of tomato dill sauce.
For dessert, 1,300 guests will dine on gusto mango on almond sponge cake with créme anglaise, with a bit of edible gold dust.
Moët & Chandon, as the official champagne of the show, will pour a cocktail for the first time.
Mark Held of Mark’s Garden will deck the room with an abundance of golden roses and rust-colored calla lilies.
