More on the Tweed Courthouse

The Bloomberg administration dealt another blow to the Museum
of the City of New York
's plans to move downtown to the Tweed Courthouse--and to the idea of making it an event space, which has been floated by some planners. The New York Times reports that Bloomberg wants to install the Board or Education inside the landmark courthouse, so the school administration would be closer to City Hall. In more MCNY news, NYC & Company CEO Cristyne Lategano, former mayor Rudy Giuliani's appointee to the museum's board of directors, will be replaced on the baord by Bloomberg appointee Vincent LaPadula, one of the mayor's senior advisors.
