Like the team of characters in Oceans 13,the film’s Hollywood premiere party on Tuesday was cool, clever, and depended onimpeccable execution. Warner Brothers’ publicity and special events team—includingCourtney Saylor, Troy Williams, Chad Hudson, and Bonnie Horton—produced the eventinternally, tapping Mary Micucci and Along Came Mary as the production vendor to pull it all off. The event for 1,200 guests took place onthe parking lot behind the El Capitan Theatre (after the screening at the Chinese)and implored a poolside-in-Vegas theme.

V.I.P. guests relaxed in 16 cabanas, cream denim-coveredstructures with off-white sheer pullbacks. The event featured a liveperformance by the Sinatra-inspired band Cocktails With Joey and a five-minutefireworks display from Pyro Spectaculars launched from the Hollywood Highathletic field—a rare occurrence in the middle of town.

ThePeking Acrobats troupe performed an array of eye-catching acts, including spinningplates, spear and vase juggling, and contortion feats. And a 30- by 20-footwater wall on a massive central truss structure rounded out the eye candy. Thewhole affair took three days to set up.
